Thank you to the Queensborough Fire Hall #3 and the City of New West.  We are now at the fire hall every Saturday from 1-2pm giving out food hampers and ready made food to members of our community in need.

If you would like to volunteer with us.  We would love to have you join us!  We are in need of gently used winter clothes and shoes, disposable masks, hygiene products and food.

Don’t Go Hungry

Since May 2020, New West Soccer Club has partnered with the Don’t Go Hungry Program to set up a food support hub in Queensborough, serving a vulnerable part of the New Westminster population.  Our club deeply values community and we are asking if you can spare 2 hours on a Saturday and join us in the huge need that we are seeing.

Every Saturday from 12:30-2 pm our NWSC members and board members come together to hand out fresh produce, pre-packaged food, meat, dairy, eggs and clothing to those in need. We are in need of drivers with a van or SUV to pick up food at St. Aidan’s United Church, greeters, help handing out grocery hampers, set up and take down tents and tables.
This is a great way to get to know your club and community members.  Kids are welcome to help as well.  If we all chip in, we can help make sure that less people in our community go hungry.

If you and your family are interested, please contact Rita Yip: memberatlarge1.nwsc@gmail.com

With gratitude on behalf of the NWSC and Don’t Go Hungry
