The New Westminster Soccer Club is committed to upholding the principles of the Canadian Soccer Association's Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model. In addition, we proudly adhere to the standards set forth by the BC Soccer Club Charter and Pathway Licensing Program. Our club's alignment with these frameworks underscores our commitment to nurturing the skills and potential of our players, ensuring they have a structured pathway to success in the beautiful game.

PLAYER PATHWAY/LONG TERM PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

NWSC adheres to the Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) program initiated by the Canadian Soccer Association. For more on the benefits of LTPD click on the logo to the right.The BC Soccer Pathway provides a road map for soccer players of all ages and abilities to participate at various levels of the game with the aim of encouraging lifelong participation. The Pathway is built around the principles of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD). The coaching pathway follows this model. The soccer environment in British Columbia provides a number of opportunities to participate in for players of all age, abilities and levels (shown in the Player Pathway). BC Soccer also would like to share with all players the ideal Playing Environment (also shown below).
